Danielle Benedetto was an 18-year-old from Wakefield, Massachusetts. ^[5]

Danielle grew up in Wakefield and attended Wakefield Memorial High School. An athlete, Danielle was a member of her school's field hockey team. Outside of school, she worked at Panera Bread. In her free team, she enjoyed hanging out with friends and family. Danielle is remembered for her infectious smile, bubbly personality, and bringing joy to others. ^[5]

On the morning of June 2nd, around 5 am, a passerby discovered a Jeep Grand Cherokee that had driven off Route 16 in New Hampshire and into several trees. The driver of the vehicle, Logan Dunn, was driving the vehicle southbound when he failed to recognize a curve and lost control of the vehicle, causing the accident. Danielle, a passenger in the vehicle, died at the scene. Logan was transported to Maine Medical Center and is listed in critical condition. Speed and alcohol are considered possible factors in the crash. ^[6]
