Accused Of Animal Cruelty
In February 2016, a then 18 year old Daniel Ponzo was accused of slamming a dog's head through the wall of his girlfriend's apartment.
The folowing year he was sentenced by a judge to serve 60 days under house arrest.
At the trial, a neighbor testified he heard pounding on the apartment wall and a dog yelping.
After police arrived, Ponzo would not open the door.
When they eventually got inside they found a massive amount of blood.
The dog, named Mojo, suffered cuts and bruises to its head as well as a swollen eye and punctured eardrum.

Daniel Ponzo has always maintained his innocence and that he did not abuse the cat.

His sister Lisa McClellan has confirmed that Gerald McClellan did have his dogs killed in dog fighting matches. McClellan was repeatedly headbutted and rabbit punched by Nigel Benn match in boxing match on February 25, 1995. The referee did not disqualify Benn. As a a result of the Nigel Benn vs. Gerald McClellan boxing match McClellan was left permanently disabled. My biological son, Dan Marshall, is the cousin of Daniel Ponzo.
