On the morning of October 30th at around 8:30 A.M., Irwin assaulted a pregnant woman in Ocala, Florida. He punched her in the face, broke her finger, and put a gun to her mouth. Also, he threatened to kill her daughter if she notified the authorities. Irwin was high on drugs during the incident; his girlfriend says that he suffers from meth addiction and has mental health problems. ^{[undefined] [undefined]}

In an earlier incident on June 6, Irwin had been arrested for domestic battery by strangulation involving the same victim.

When Irwin fled the scene, police and K9 units tracked him down through a wooded area to a Magnum Construction area located at 6760 NW 27th Avenue Road in Ocala.

Police shot him while making his arrest, and reports indicate that he was shot in the face.

He remains in the hospital in stable condition.
