Danah Rojo-Rivas was a 16-year-old from Gardena, California.

She attended Gardena High School and was a sophomore player on the school's Softball team.

Death

Danah was killed on the evening of November 23rd by a stray bullet while she was driving with her mother in a Ford Mustang.

[1]They were driving home from church when they were caught in the middle of gunfire related to gang violence.

[0]The suspects have been identified as two African American men age 25-30 and they were driving a burgundy Saturn SUV.

At the time, Danah also had a dog on her lap who ran away after she had been shot.

The dog was struck by a vehicle and killed shortly after.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help her family pay for her funeral expenses.
