Dana Bricken (born 06/05/1990) is a Senior Project Editor of Bibliographies at Oxford University Press (OUP). [1]
Education & Career
Bricken is a graduate of Grinnell College, Class of 2012, where she majored in English and Philosophy. [1] At Grinnell, Bricken was a co-leader, along with Andrea Leiser, of Active Minds, a student organization aimed at destigmatizing Mental disorders. In the week before finals, Active Minds held events promoting Self-care. [3]
She attended Staples High School Class of 2008.
Bricken began her career at Oxford University Press in 2015, working as an Assistant Editor. She was promoted to Associate Editor in 2017. Her current fields are Cinema & Media Studies, Communication, Criminology, Linguistics, Philosophy, Psychology, and Urban Studies. [1]
Before joining OUP, Bricken was an Editorial Assistant at Cambridge University Press, where she worked with Debbie Gershenowitz, Senior Editor of American and Latin American History, and Diana Gillooly, Senior Editor of Mathematical Sciences. [1]
Bricken was promoted to Senior Project Editor in June 2021.
Personal
Bricken currently resides in the Upper East Side neighborhood of New York City. She hails originally from Westport, Connecticut.
She speaks French, German and Spanish.
