Daisy L. Lovelace teaches management communication in ICE Blocks 1 and 2 and an elective course exploring persuasion, power, and influence. She's particularly interested in the role of communication in leading teams and organizations. Lovelace also serves as an executive coach, a corporate consultant, and an author for LinkedIn Learning.^[3]

Prior to joining the faculty at McIntire, she held academic appointments at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington, the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, the Duke University School of Law, the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Princeton University.

She received her B.S. (Commerce), M.Ed and Ph.D

from University of Virginia.
