Dahir Adan was a St.

Cloud, Minnesota community college student and Somali immigrant who randomly stabbed nine people in a mall in St.

Adan attended St. Cloud State University as a junior.

He graduated from Apollo High School.

Adan was born in Africa, and had lived in the United States for 15 years.

On September 17, 2016, at around 8:00 p.m., Adan stabbed nine people while referencing Allah and asking victims if they were Muslim inside the Crossroads Center mall.

Adan was shot and killed by off duty Police officer, Jason Falconer.
