Cheney Ray, known by the CRAY, is an American Electronic Music Producer, Gamer, and Twitch Streamer. She is based in Los Angeles, California.
Life and Career
Playing at Brownies and Lemonade
Cheney grew up in Vancouver, British Colombia. During high school, she was apart of her school's choir as well as their music club. While in college, her boyfriend at the time was making music and she began to develop her own ideas. Cheney watched tutorials on YouTube and started teaching herself music theory and production.
CRAY moved to Los Angeles in order to seek better opportunities for her music and gaming career.
She has since played at Brownies and Lemonade shows as well as the main stage at HARD Summer. Cheney has been playing video games since her childhood and has made her passion for gaming apart of her brand. She hopes to combines music and gaming in her future career, and has gotten a start DJing major gaming events such as Dreamhack and E3.
CRAY has a growing following on Social media. As of September 2017, she had over 30K followers on Twitter, 55K followers on Instagram, 40K followers on SoundCloud, and over 19,000 followers and 200,000 views on Twitch.tv.
