Early life
Jordan was diagnosed with a Learning disability in elementary school.[6] [6]This hampered his reading comprehension skills.
Crediting his learning of Latin to being able to adjust and cope.
Jordan is a graduate of North Carolina Central University.
With two degrees in Political science and Biotechnology.[3]A combination he hoped would help him grow into a career as a Patent attorney.
Jordan credits his time at University for helping to mature his entrepreneurial spirit.[0] [2] [24]Jordan would go on to receive a Masters in Cultural Anthropology.
[6] [0] [2]It was during his first year of law school that Jordan along with his partner Mary Bassey developed and sell a Computer program.
Career
Jordan Founded Venture Beyond (VENBEYCAP) in 2013, [2] [5]primarily as a holding company that would manage his entrepreneurial endeavors, investments and partnerships, [5] [21]including his partnership with Bassey.
Jointly VENBEYCAP and Bassey founded MarCo Consolidated Resources, [5] [6]an acronym for Mary and Courtney, [3] [6]which was a Web applications development firm and a Call centre, calling systems worldwide[7],and had clients such as sprint wireless.
In 2014 VENBEYCAP purchased the South African Prepaid Mobile Network, CellCom Mobile.[8] [9]In 2015, VENBEYCAP sold the company for a profit to MTN Group.
[10] [5]VENBEYCAP also owns the Textile manufacturing factory, Global Incentives Manufacturing, [11] [5]additionally, the UK Web hosting company, Host Rite.

Founded by Jordan and Bassey, the Courtney Jordan Group, served dis-advantaged youth throughout the community of North Carolina, providing a learning based curriculum through its home school initiative.
As well as providing free camp to under privileged kids.
In 2012 the organization took a group of 50 to Europe.
In 2018, the organization re branded as the Courtney Jordan Foundation and changed its primary focus expanding up it's StartUP Durham initiative[17].
Now focusing on the Third World.
The foundation helps develop entrepreneurship working in with Third World governments, to pair entrepreneurs with mentors and provide economic resources.[18] [19]
