Laurent Combalbert is a police caatain on leave of absence who holds a qualification from the National Academy of the FBI and was for several years an Hostage Negotiator with RAID, the elite intervention corps of the French police force.

He then worked for five years as associate director of an international group of companies to organise and manage crisis situations.

These two posts have given him a wide range of complementary experiences during which he has dealt with dozens of crisis situations and directed teams of experts in charge of solving complex incidents throughout the world.

He now directs the Ulysceo network, the leader in European crisis negotiation.

He is a consultant for several K & R (kinapping and ransom) insurance companies and is called in to intervene is numerous situations where kidnapping, extortion, ransomware and fraud are involved.
