Colin Kingston was a SUNY Geneseo dropout aged 24 who killed his ex-girlfriend and himself in a murder-suicide. Kelsey Annese and Colin had dated for 3 years before she broke up with him, prompting the murder-suicide.

Colin is from a prominent family - his family’s farm dates back to 1840.

His late grandfather, Walter Kingston, was a school board member and supervisor of the town.

“They are just the backbone of Geneseo,” former school board member and family friend Bob McDonald says.

Colin attended Geneseo High School where he played basketball; his former coach says he was an exemplary athlete. Colin had worked at his family farm as a farm hand and was also a salesperson at GNC (General Nutrition Centers). ^[1]
