Colby Smith (1998-July 19, 2017) was a 19-year-old resident of Cleveland, Tennessee. ^[undefined] He was known by friends and family as a determined confident leader with a kind soul. ^[undefined]

Colby Smith is a graduate for Bradley Central High School in Cleveland, Tennessee. At Bradley, Colby was involved in the band and the school's band camp. He also ran track for the school's team. ^{[1] [undefined]}

Colby was passionate about cars and motorcycles.

He drove a blue Ford Mustang and often posted photos of the car on Facebook. He previously drove a white Mustang and Chevrolet. Colby also enjoyed riding dirtbikes. ^[undefined]

On July 19, 2017 Colby died in a motorbike crash in Polk County, Tennessee.

Tennessee Highway Patrol says the crash happened at the intersection of Hwy 411 and Grove Road in Benton, Tennessee shortly after 9 a.m. ^[undefined]

THP says 19-year-old Colby Smith of Cleveland was riding his motorcycle north on U.S. HWY 411 in the right lane "at a high rate of speed."

63-year-old Norma Baine was driving north in the left lane, and THP says she did not see Smith because of his speed.

Baine moved into the right lane to turn onto Grove Road when THP says Smith collided with the right front side of Baine's Ford pickup truck.

was wearing a helmet, but THP says he was pronounced dead at the hospital. Baine
