Colby Christina (born May 29, 2001) is a American professional actor, TV Show Host, singer, Dancer, Model, Choreographer, Mentor, Instructor and Advocate born in Manhasset, New York.
Colby has trained professionally since the age of two at the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Center for Arts and Culture and at other locations.
Colby has been labeled a formidable "Triple Threat" Nationally and Internationally.
She credits Peggy Alston, the Emeritus Director of the Restoration Center for Arts & Culture with being the very first Triple Threat she ever met in a formal setting who ignited a spark in her.
Her accomplishments to date have catapulted her to the National Stage at the National Black Theatre Festival as the Celebrity Teen Co-Chair and Parade Grand Marshall in 2015 and 2017, as well as to the Red Carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival as a Guest at the Oprah Winfrey Premiere of Greenleaf on the OWN TV Network.
Colby Christina has performed Center Stage at the Brooklyn Academy of Music as a Feature Performer in DanceAfrica with Emeritus Artistic Director and Founder, Dr. Baba Charles "Chuck" Davis and Artistic Director, Abdel Salaam, the Billie Holiday Theatre, the Museum of Natural History, the Waldorf Astoria New York and Black Spectrum Theatre to name a few. Prior to the "Emancipation of Grandpa Sandy Wills" written by Cheryl Wills, NY 1 News Anchor, where Colby played "Emma Wills" & received a standing ovation for a performance where she spoke no words. Colby also appeared in the Lead Role of "Alice" at the age of 12 to sold out audiences in the Stage to TV Production, “The Liberation of Mother Goose”, in the Billie Holiday Theatre in Brooklyn, New York with Emeritus Theatre Director, Marjorie Moon written by Aduke Aremu, Executive Producer/Director, Peggy Alston, Musical Director, Mario Sprouse and Director & Choreographer Abdel Salaam.
In June 2018, Colby is also set to appear in "Josephine's Cotton - The Revue" Directed and Produced by the magnificent Tina Thompson in tribute to Josephine Baker, Entertainer, Activist and French Resistance Agent.
Baker was the first person of color to become a world-wide entertainer and star in a major motion picture in 1934 and refused to perform for segregated audiences in the United States.
In 1968 Josephine was offered unofficial leadership in the Civil Rights Movement in the United States at the request of Coretta Scott King after the assassination of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King., Jr., she declined the offer out of concern for her children.
Colby will bring Josephine's teenage and young adult years to life.
Preliminary revues state that Colby Christina will without a doubt capture the attention of many in the Theater World and beyond with this Triple Threat Performance.
In late 2017, her appearance in “Leaves” written in part by Victor Vauban Junior, in the role of “Rhonda”, is featured in Broadway World News as a “added treat”, with Colby being “the youngest cast member" in the production.
Colby is always giving back to her Community, Corporations and Individuals with her time & passion & willingness to always help others.
She also loves teaching & mentoring "her babies" (the 3 & 4 year & the 8 to 11 year old students) at the Restoration Center for Arts and Culture where she continues to serve as the Student Ambassador at the Youth Arts Academy.
Colby has also served as an Intern at Black Spectrum Theater, a Dance Intern at Evidence Dance Company and as a Impact Repertory Theater Member.
Early Life & Edcuation
Colby has attended Private School all of her life and has been skipped one Academic Grade.
She is a 16 year old High School Senior at a Private Independent Pre-Collegiate High School & is fast tracked to complete High School at age 16.
Colby has already been extended invitations by some great academic institutions throughout the United States, to come on board as a student for the College Freshman Class of Fall 2018, to Major in Theater and Minor in Dance or complete a Double Major BFA in both.
As a member of the Freshman Class of 2018 Colby continues to set records and is a role model for Tweens, Teens and even Adults.
Awards & Accomplishments
Upon receiving the AUDELCO at the age of 13, for excellence in Black Theater, Colby Christina joine d the ranks of Denzel Washington, Kerry Washington, and Sanaa Lathan who also received the “Rising Star” AUDELCO Award.
To her credit Colby Christina has accomplished many “first” in the Arts and in Academia and is the recipient of more than 150 Awards, Citations, Proclamations and Honors, a considerable amount of them before the age of 13.
Colby has been honored twice, with the NAACP "Legacy Award" & prior to that received the NAACP "Youth Award", was honored by the King of Kings Foundation with the "A Star Has Risen Award"(This Award Will Be Given Annually & has Been Officially Named the "Colby Christina a Star Has Risen Award), honored by the Trey Whitfield School Foundation as a "Academic Honoree" & Colby was Honored by the Young, Gifted and Black Corporation with the "Nina Simone Entrepreneurship & Creativity Award".
There is also a New York State Senate Resolution (J893) issued on the New York State Senate floor in her honor on March 3, 2017.
Colby's TV Show “Colby’s Corner - REAL Teen Talk TV” is “Your premiere destination for Teens who want a safe place to learn and talk about what’s really happening in their lives Socially, Academically and Culturally.”“Colby’s Corner - REAL Teen Talk TV” debuted and aired live on MadHouseTV.com on September 27, 2016 to rave reviews. “Colby’s Corner - Real Teen Talk TV” has laid a solid foundation via its Multi-Media Enterprise for Teens and Tweens that will soon consist of other media platforms like Radio, Magazine and of course more exemplary TV Programming that will be a beacon of light for our young adults. "Colby's Corner" will serve to further enhance the Mentoring Platforms that Colby launched years ago and is a beacon of light in the TV World for many. Colby recently partnered with Estelle's Dressy Dresses in Farmingdale, New York and with other Fashion Designer Icons.
Colby served as a Feature Model (fashion show and print) and Marketing Liaison directly responsible for the Estelle's inclusion in major media platforms inclusive of TV Show Features, Magazine Cover Features & has increased the Estelle's search engine optimization.

COLBY Featured her spectacular designs at Fashion Week and New York Teen Fashion Week while she served as VIP Guest and Celebrity Teen HOST.
Colby has been featured in dozens of publications and was featured in the Huffington Post when they highlighted her recent campaign, “THINK BIG, DREAM BIG AND SOAR!”, which she developed since there is a clear need to encourage, market and promote excellence for Teens and Tweens in the Arts.
Colby was recently featured on the the cover of the Winter/Spring 2017 edition of Black Masks Magazine, the Spring edition of Dream Teen Magazine, the Thanksgiving edition of Sista’s Keeper Magazine, and Level 21 Magazine.
Colby’s Entertainment and Arts goal and dream is to be a "household name and appear on Television, in Movies, and to perform on Broadway again and to participate in everything God has in store for me while simultaneously continuing to achieve academic success."
