CoinTiger

CoinTiger is a cryptocurrency exchange founded in 2017 and based in China. It enables users with the ability to trade (buy/sell) cryptocurrencies between them using respective available trading pairs. Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), bitCNY and Tether (USDT) are some of the main currencies available on CoinTiger and both deposits and withdrawals are performed using exclusively cryptocurrencies. The crypto-currency pairs transaction charge a 0.15% for the taker and 0.08% for the maker, while deposits cost 0%.^[1]

Overview

CoinTiger's mission is to provide secure, reliable and stable trading services comparable to mature domestic and foreign securities traders for blockchain enthusiasts.^[2]

It is available in multiple languages, such as Russian, Mandarin Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean, and can be used on various platforms including the web, iOS and Android clients. Currently, CoinTiger has more than 2.1 million users from more than 40 countries and regions in Asia, North America, Africa and Europe. ^[2]

As of 2019, CoinTiger has launched four markets (BTC, ETH, bitCNY,USDT,TRX) with 189 trading pairs and an average daily turnover of US$45–60 million, ranking among the top 30 on CoinMarketCap.^[2]

Since its launch, CoinTiger has been committed to the development of BitShares (BTS) ecosystem. Among others, it launched the BitCNY market and joined the SPRING Fund to provide BitCNY and BTS with better liquidity. Due to this, CoinTiger has grown into the exchange with the largest BitCNY trading volume.^[2]

In April 2018, CoinTiger established its own ecosystem fund which specializes in blockchain equity investment and token investment and has invested in first-tier projects including Perlin, RootStock, BeeKan. MyToken, Carry, CarBlock and Cocos-BCX. Currently, the ecosystem fund has covered investment in early-phase blockchain projects, investment banking, project consulting and incubation, and has extended its reach to more than ten countries in North America, Southeast Asia, and Europe.^[2]
