Coffiest

On August 9, 2016 Soylent (drink) launched Coffiest, a coffee-flavored version of the wildly popular meal-replacement.

Rob Rhinehart, cofounder and CEO of Soylent, noted that the inspiration behind Coffiest manifested itself in the form of community posts and an awareness of his own daily routine.

Rob stated, "Looking at my own life, I would drink my Soylent and I would pour coffee, and I thought, Why can't I put them together?"^[1]

The Coffiest launch came on the heels of the first Soylent food bar image leak on Reddit in July 2016.
