Death
On May 12, 2017, Krantz and her coworker, Marlina Medrano were shot and killed by Thomas Hartless. The Kirkersville police department received a call about the mass shooting at around 7:30 a.m. local time. [1]
Hartless took other employees hostage as he approached the center, neither was harmed. [1] He also killed Steven DiSario in an ambush shooting. [1]
