Officers responded to a 911 call from his home on Cindy Jo Court at around 7:20 a.m. local time.
When they arrived, someone was performing CPR on the little girl before she was taken to Tennova Hospital.
The baby was pronounced dead at 8:00 a.m.
Conway admitted to sexual assaulting his daughter and wrapping a cord around her neck. He is being held on a $100,000 bond in Montgomery County, Tennessee jail.
