Christopher Hyzy is the Chief Investment Officer at Bank of America and Merrill Lynch. Previously, he served as the chief investment strategist for U.S. Trust.^[4]

In 1991, Hyzy received his B.A. in business from Villanova University and earned an M.B.A. in finance from New York University Stern School of Business in 1988 He serves on both the Provost Board for Villanova University and the Finance Advisory Council for Villanova School of Business and serves on the Finance and Investment Committee for the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation.^[4][5]

Currently, Christopher is the Chief Investment Officer for both Bank of America Private Bank and Merrill.

In this role, he helps determine the investment view for the wealth management businesses, develops and manages asset allocation strategy, investment policies, and portfolio strategy, and supports a client-focused investment approach.

In leading the Chief Investment Office, he chairs the Investment Strategy Committee and develops thought leadership across global markets, asset classes, and investment themes.^[4][5]

Previously, he served as the Chief Investment Strategist and Head of U.S.

Trust Investment Management for U.S. Trust.^[4][5]

Prior to joining U.S. Trust, he was Chief Investment Officer and Head of Product Strategy for the Latin American Market region of The Citi Private Bank. He chaired the Global Investment Themes Committee and was a voting member of the Investment Strategy Committee for the Citi Private Bank, and active member of the Investment Policy Committee, the Product Strategy Committee, and senior leadership team. Preceding his role at Citigroup, he was the director of Merrill Lynch’s Investment Policy Group and head of the Investment Committee for International Private Clients. Christopher also held investment positions including Director of the Global Portfolio Strategy group for Private Wealth Advisory and senior international equity strategist for Merrill Lynch’s Private Client and Middle Markets Group.^[4][5]
