Christopher Lee Watts (born May 16, 1985) is an American murderer who was sentenced to five life terms on August, 2018, after pleading guilty to killing his pregnant wife, Shanann Watts, and their two daughters. [1]
Biography
Watts was born and raised in the state of North Carolina, a place where he lived for most of his life. He grew up in the city of Fayetteville, North Carolina.
He is an alum of Pine Forest High School. During his senior year he placed third at the North Carolina Automobile Dealers Association competition in Winston-Salem. He received a certificate of $1,000 scholarship.

In 2010, he met his future wife, Shanann, and in 2012 they got married.
In 2013, the Watts moved to the state of Colorado, where they would live for next few years.
They had two daughters.
They later moved to Frederick, Colorado, and in 2015 filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy in the Colorado federal court. They were about $448,000 in debt. [1] [7]
Chris was working for an oil and gas company called, Anadarko Petroleum Corp. Years later he would no longer work at the company.
Murders
Watts pleaded guilty to killing his pregnant wife, Shanann Watts, and their two young daughters at their home in Frederick, Colorado in August 2018.
He was sentenced to three consecutive life terms without the possibility of parole, after which prosecutors started releasing all the documents related to the case.
