Cherry obtained her Bachelor's degree in Business and Human resource management from RMIT University in 2017.^[2] She holds a certificate of employment intermediaries from Ministry of manpower, Singapore which was obtained in 2018.^[3]

Cherry has a strong passion and interest to connect with people, to cultivate and maintain relationships, especially across jobs, industries and personality types.^[1]

Cherry is presently the Senior Analyst in talent acquisition at Lazada Group, Singapore (Alibaba Group); a position she has occupied since July 2019 till date. At Lazada, She utilizes a variety of proven talent platforms and resources such as social media, internet job boards, discussion boards, onsite/offsite social engagement events and partnering with trusted professional networks, performs complex research, networking and analysis to develop active and passive candidate pipeline, responsible for identifying qualified applicants for hard-to-fill, niche positions and present a diverse candidate slate to support business diversity and manage day to day recruitment and talent acquisition administrative matters and collate data for reporting purposes. From April to July 2019, she was the Talent coordinator and sourcer.^[4]

Cherry was the Recruitment coordinator at @RedMart from 2018 to 2019 where she was responsible for running smooth recruitment at RedMart's Fulfillment Centre.^[5] She was the Management associate at RecruitFirst Singapore from September 2017 to February 2018.^[6]
