Chauncy Black is a student residing in Memphis, Tennessee. ^[1] Chauncy lives with his disabled mother. He is a straight A student who is doing his best to make it in a world with no money and very few resources. He wants to work and help his mother financially. He wants to become a successful business owner and offer jobs and opportunites to others in his Community. ^[1]

In June 2016, Chauncy went up to stranger, Matthew Michael White (Matt White) while they were at a . Chauncy offered Matt to take his groceries to his car in exchange for donuts.

Matt accepted and bought Chauncy donuts for dinner and said he felt compelled to take him on a shopping spree.

After learning about Chauncy's financial struggles, and his desire to start a landscaping business to help his mother with rent, Matt set up a Go Fund Me account to help him raise money to buy a push mower.

Within days, the Go Fund Me not only went viral on Social Media, but surpassed the initial goal of $250.00 with over $220,000 raised so far.
