James Ira Chase Haslett ( August 13, 1992) is an offensive quality control assistant for the Dallas Cowboys. His father is Jim Haslett, best known for position as the head coach for the New Orleans Saints.
Personal Life
Chase Haslett was born in Clayton, Montana to NFL head coach Jim Haslett. Chase is engaged to Paige Schumacher. [2]
Education
Haslett earned a Bachelor of Science in recreation, sport and tourism from the University of Illinois and a Master of Science in sport science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he was a quarterback on the football team. [3][10][11]
Career
Chase first worked as a graduate assistant and quarterback coach at the University of Nebraska. He later got a job as a quality control assistant at Mississipi State from 2017 to 2018. he has also coached tight ends at Mercer University.
In early 2020, he became an offensive quality control assistant for the Dallas Cowboys.
Football
Haslett was redshirted in 2011 and didn't see action until 2014 when he played all 11 games. He threw for 2,178 yards with 16 touchdowns and 15 interceptions and completed 60.3 percent of his passes with 172 completions.
