Charles Elias Ingalls, better known CharlestheFirst, is a DJ and electronic music producer. He is originally from Lake Tahoe.

Charles was born in 1996 and grew up in the Sierra Nevada (U.S.) He was raised by his mother and has two older brothers. Charles started to make music when he was 14 with his brothers' older friends.
Charles released his first project in August 2014.
He received press for his fourth release in April 2016, Running Through the Forest which was inspired by the past four months of his life at that point.
Charles' music is rooted in Hip hop and experimental electronic music and is inspired by the nature he grew up around. He uses a field recording in order to capture organic sounds and sample them in his music.
