Charles Sadler, born 1982, was charged with sexual assault of a minor.

Criminal Charges

Sadler was found raping a three year old girl in the 300 block of South Richardson Avenue.

The woman who reported the assault to the police had followed Sadler for several blocks.

Charles Sadler personally knew the victim and their family, as the mother stated: "the Alleged victim's mother took to Facebook claiming her child looked to Sadler as 'an uncle' before he stole her innocence".

As of August 9, 2016, Charles Sadler is currently being held in the Franklin County Jail on $200,000 bond.

Sadler is due in court on August 15, 2016.

Sadler's family told WSYX they thought the 34-year-old was 'passed out drunk somewhere' at the time of the incident.

Various news outlets praised the woman for being a "good samaritan" and putting herself at risk to catch Sadler.

The woman reporting the crime was nicknamed the "good samaritan" since she did not wish for the publicity of her good deeds.

On 5 August 2016, the mother-of-two from Columbus, Ohio, posted that Charles Sadler took 'his obsession' for her 3-year-old to 'another level' on Friday while she was being watched by family friends, whom the furious mom called 'unresponsible fucking adults.'

According to the woman, her 3-year-old child offered investigators testimony after being examined in the hospital.
