Charles Roberts-Perkins (born April 30th, 2003) is a Photographer and American YouTuber that goes by "CRPHD," born n' raised in Austin, Texas!^[1] He has amassed over half a million views on his self-titled YouTube Channel where he creates and uploads tech reviews, vlogs, gaming & entertainment videos!^[2] Through his work, Charles is able to bring all his passions and hobbies together to present to the world!

Charles is part of a large family with his five brothers, one sister, and parents.

He grew up in the capital city of Austin, Texas and attended Mathews Elementary (a school located in downtown Austin) as a kid. Growing up Charles always had a passion for creating things whether that was with tools or artistically with paintbrushes. It was just a matter of time before he was introduced to the art of Videography in which he would stick with till this very day. The only time where he has lived elsewhere was when he moved to a small town outside of Austin called "Elgin" During his time there (3 years) he went to Elgin middle school, and found a soft spot in his heart for theater arts. He enjoyed it very much because it allowed him to create somthing in a unique way that he’s never got to experience before. Soon after the three years he made his arrival back to Austin to attend Vandegrift High School, where he graduated in the class of 2021. He now attends The University of Texas at El Paso, where he is pursuing a degree in Digital Arts & Media. While still persistent in his online content creation, working with brands along the way such as Fifine Technology & G-force Ebike.^[3][4][5][6]

During Charles’s time at Vandegrift he was a well-known student athlete around campus that participated in the varsity football and wrestling team.^[7] This isn’t a surprise considering that he’s been playing sports since a very young age, starting at the Pop Warner level. Charles’s outstanding performance on the wrestling mat landed him the spot as the River Place Community living “athlete of the month,” and he was featured in the latest issue of their magazine!^[8] This was due to the early success that he had, being put on the varsity level his sophomore year. He ended up finishing his impressive high school wrestling career being a 2x district champion (2018 & 2019), 2x regional qualifier (2019 & 2021), state qualifier (2021), ranked 11th in Texas for the 152lbs weight class (2019), and finished 7th (final ranked 7th in Texas) at the 2021 UIL boys state wrestling tournament at the 160lbs weight class.^[9]

Outside of school Charles takes on a lot of volunteer and freelance jobs to build his resume/skills, while also at the same time working on growing his audience on his Youtube channel. One of his most notable voluntary projects was with the Four Points Pop Warner team.^[10] He was able to travel with them to nationals (since he was a volunteer team photographer) and put together a video over their game held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.^[11] This was a once in a lifetime experience for Charles because he was able to go out and do the thing that he loves, while also being able to support his brother that was on the football team. The best part of it all was that they also got to have the pleasure of experiencing all the parks in Walt Disney World!

Going on into the future Charles hopes that he can make a living out of his most passionate hobby, content creation, as well as plans to obtain his Digital Arts & Media degree early from The University of Texas at El Paso
