Charles Lincoln Neal III (born June 1, 1978) is a YouTube Star; he is part of the internet sensation comedy duo, Rhett and Link along with Rhett McLaughlin. [6]

Link born as Charles Lincoln “Link” Neal III was born on June 1, 1978, in Boone Trail, North Carolina. His father’s name is Charles Lincoln” Neal II, while his mother’s name is Sue Capps. His parents got divorced when he was two years old. [8]
His mother then married her high school sweetheart Jimmy Capps and he moved with his mom and his step-father to Buies Creek, North Carolina. There’s no information on whether he had any siblings or not. [6]
Charles Lincoln Neal III met his classmate and friend, Rhett on the first day of first grade at Buies Creek Elementary School, they were both held in from recess for writing the words “hel” and “dam” on their desks though it was misspelled. As punishment, they had to draw unicorns, and from then on, they became best friends.
He and Rhett made a blood oath when they were kids.
He attended a Harnett Central High School located in North Carolina and graduated in 1996. [6]
He and Rhett were very creative and applied this creativity by performing skits and "interviewing" each other as different characters.
When they were 14 years old, they wrote a screenplay titled Gutless Wonders, they even began its film production but they only shot a few scenes and the film was unfinished.
In 1999, Rhett wrote "The Tragedy," a book that recorded in detail the tragic snowboarding accident that left him (Link) with a broken pelvis and, a month's worth of memory loss.
Charles Lincoln Neal III attended North Carolina State University, he was roommates with Rhett and other friends, Gregg and Tim. He studied Industrial Engineering and graduated with honors in 2000.[8]
He gave the commencement speech at his old high school in 2012 along with Rhett, they performed a song and had the valedictorian smash a Charmander piñata.

Before beginning his online career, he worked as an engineer for International Business Machines Corporation (IBM). He worked there for a few years, before leaving his job and going into full-time entertainment.
They were known by fans for their funny music videos, sketches, hilarious local commercials, and other entertainment contents.
The channel has over 4.93 million subscribers and more than 897 million views.
He and his friend Rhett collaborated and created a documentary called ‘Looking for Ms. Locklear’ in 2008.
They then began hosting a talk show on YouTube titled ‘Good Mythical Morning’ it was launched on September 17, 2008, the show went on to become one of the most-watched talk shows on the internet.
They eventually began calling themselves ‘INTERNETAINERS’ – entertainers on the internet.
The show featured them eating unbelievable stuff, exploring new products and trends, competing in games with celebrity guests, doing some serious experiment in hilarious ways, and lots more.

They launched a third channel titled ‘Good Mythical More’, it is an extension of Good Mythical Morning.

Personal Life

He is currently married to Christy White, and they got married in 2000 at Kinston, North Carolina. He met her during his junior year in college at a roller-skating rink.
They currently have three children together, two sons named Charles Lincoln Neal IV and Lando James Neal and a daughter named Lilian Grace Neal.
He currently resides in Burbank, California with his family.
He has admitted that he has a slight case of OCD and likes to organize and re-organize his surroundings as has been described in his very famous video ‘The OCD Song’.
He loves to camp, go mountain biking, paddleboarding and he is an Off-Roading enthusiast.
He is a big fan of Lionel Richie and Merle Haggard's music. In high school, he and Rhett would often listen to Merle Haggard whilst driving around the suburbs in silence for hours, later discussing the lyrics in detail.[8]
When he turned 16 and he had just received his license, he and Rhett followed Haggard's tour bus all the way to South Carolina in hopes of meeting him, but got scared and turned back as they crossed the state border.
In college, he and Rhett did "Project Lionel" in their shared dorm room, they had everyone that visited their room, including his mom, do his famous album pose on their yellow couch (called "Mr. Fly").[8]
In September 2012, they uploaded a video of them singing All Night Long by Lionel Richie, they literally sang all night long.
They recorded over 11 hours of footage starting at 7:25 pm to 6:30 am.[6]
He is a picky eater, this was shown in multiple episodes of Good Mythical Morning, where he frequently gags at new foods, earning him the nickname "Mythical Barf Bucket".
