On April 4, 2018, Marc Jacobs proposed to Charly Defrancesco, via a flash mob while in a Chipotle restaurant. The flashmob did a routine to the song Kiss by Prince. They were married in a lavish wedding held in New York City on April 7, 2019. The wedding reception was held at The Grill in Midtown Manhattan. Celebrity guests include supermodels Gigi and Bella Hadid, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Kaia Gerber, Emily Ratajkowski, Amber Valletta, Helena Christensen, Rita Ora, Christina Ricci, rapper Lil' Kim and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
