Chandler Song (age 25 yrs) is an American Computer engineer, Entrepreneur and Blockchain personality. He is co-founder and CEO of Ankr, a web 3 infrastructure provider for DApps. He is also recognized as an early investor in Blockchain startups and was named in Forbes 30 Under 30 list in enterprise technology in 2019.[1][2][3]
Early Life & Education
There is not much information available about his early life, but education details suggest that he spent his early life in New Hampshire, US and completed a High School Diploma from Kimball Union Academy. He studied Electrical engineering & Computer science and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from University of California, Berkeley. He can speak English, Chinese and Spanish.[4]
Career
Chandler started his professional career in Beijing, China in 2016. He worked as an Algorithm engineer at Didi Chuxing, a leading mobile transportation and convenience platform offering a full range of the app-based transportation and life services for over 550 million users across Asia, Latin America and Australia. Chandler worked for short duration of 3 months and was for responsible for 'Ride Scheduling System' and 'Dynamic Pricing Model'.[4]
He returned to Berkley and worked part time as AI Research Lab Assistant at UC Berkeley College of Engineering for 4 months.
He was involved in deep reinforcement learning for autonomous driving in a virtual environment and participated in International Conference on Computer Vision 2017. He was also working as a software engineer for SAP, Palo Alto, CA during the same period.[9]
In May 2017, he joined Amazon Web Services as a 'Software Engineer Intern' in New York City and worked on Amazon Advertising Platform. In November 2019, he was promoted to Software Engineer at AWS and shifted to the Seattle metropolitan area. He also worked as a CTO of Cityspade Inc, a real Estate company which consists of young lawyers and real estate agents for around 6 months during his stay in NY.[8]
Founder and CEO of Ankr
In 2017, Chandler co- founded Ankr with a former Investment banker at Morgan Stanley, Ryan Fang and senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead at Amazon, Stanley Wu. Ankr is a native Web3 infrastructure provider and it builds a distributed computing network that leverages idle cloud resources in data centers and edge devices. It raised total $15.1M in funding over 3 rounds in the last three years and its investor includes NEO Global Capital (NGC), JD Capital, DHCV, Ryan Fang and Pantera Capital. Chandler is also working as a CEO of Ankr and has been their face on social media platforms. Ankr is ranked 127th currently on the CoinMarketCap.[5][6][7]
Investor
Chandler has invested in HOPR Association, an open source tools and framework provider for the Web3 ecosystem, which ensures everyone has control of their privacy, data, and identity while navigating online.[12]

Chandler lives in San Francisco Bay Area. He is fond of painting and travelling.
