Chanda Foreman was a single mother of one and employee of Comcast Corp. in Washington Heights, Chicago.

Death

On June 30th, 2016 of her 37th birthday Chanda was shot and killed when a gold Buick with four people inside pulled up at around 9:45 p.m. in the 9500 block of South Loomis ^[2]and two gunmen in the car opened fire from the back seat.

Foreman was inside her car with four of her friends when she was shot.

Another woman was shot inside Foreman’s car, and three other people were shot on the front porch of Foreman’s aunt’s home.

Other Shootings in Washington Heights

The first time Foreman was shot before this incident was again inside her car when a person running down the street in the area of 79th Street and King Drive began shooting.

A bullet went through the door of her car and struck her ankle.
