Chakeira Wright is a student at Howard High School of Technology.

On May 9, 2016, Chakeira was charged with 3rd degree criminal conspiracy in connection to the death of Amy Inita Joyner. Her friends Zion Snow and Trinity Carr were also arrested. The trio had conspired to "settle the beef", which may have been over a boy.

Chakeira faces up to 1 year in juvenile hall for the conspiracy.

She did not attack Amy.

On April 21, 2016 Amy Inita Joyner died from being assaulted in a girl's bathroom at Howard High School of Technology. Amy's head was hit on the sink. Video obtained by investigators shows Trinity Carr hitting Joyner-Francis in the head and torso with a closed fist.

Amy Joyner-Francis died as a result of a heart defect, but prosecutors say she would not have gone into cardiac arrest if she had not been assaulted.

Chakeira Wright, Zion Snow, and Trinity Carr all planned the attack 20 hours before through written and oral communications.
