Chahat Kumar is an 8-month-old baby from Punjab, India. She is Morbidly obese. ^[0]

On March 22nd, Barcroft media reported on an obese baby in Punjab.

When Chahat was born, she was a healthy baby and

appeared to be normal like her peers.

But 4-5 months after her birth, her parents began to notice her gaining more weight due to an uncontrollable appetite.

By the time she was eight months old, she weighed 38 lbs, twice as much as a normal baby her age.

When Chahat's parents brought her to the local doctor, he was unable to test her due to her hardened skin.

He recommended the family see a pediatric specialist in Amritsar but so far they do not

have the funds sufficient enough for the trip.
