Chadd Smith (well recongnized as Madd Chadd, born on October 13, 1982) is a dancer and model. He lives in Los Angeles, California.
Early Life & Education
Chadd Smith hails originally from Camarillo, California. He did not grow up dancing, but still lived an active lifestyle by playing a lot of sports. This included extreme sports such as BMX, skateboarding, and surfing. He eventually focused on track & field.
During that time, Smith started disco dancing and Cripwalking with his friends. He saw dancing as a means to express himself outside of athletics.
Academically, Smith attended Adolfo Camarillo High School. He graduated from UCLA on a track scholarship.
Career
Chadd Smith as Vladd (aka "The Robot Guy")
Chadd Smith's first film appearance in 2010 when he was in Step Up 3D . He played the character of Vladd. In addition, he played a role in Step Up All In in 2014.
Smith also played the role of Sp3cimen in The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers , a 2010–2011 web series about two groups of rival dancers: The Alliance of the Dark who are the villains and The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers, the heroes, who discover they have superpowers referred to as "the Ra" through their dance abilities.
Smith's rendition of the Robot Dance went viral on the internet in 2014.
