Celine Dookhran was a 19 year old make up artist from London, UK. ^[1] Dookhran was murdered and raped, in an alleged 'honor killing', for dating an Arab Muslim since she is an Indian Muslim.

Dookhran was kidnapped by two Muslim Indian men on Wednesday July 19, 2017.

Another woman was kidnapped along with Dookhran.

Dookhran was found stuffed in a fridge with her throat slit after the second woman who was also attacked raised the alarm from her hospital bed.

The two women were said to have been bound, gagged and kidnapped by the masked men.

They were taken to a house in Kingston-upon-Thames, south-west London, where they were both raped and Dookhran was killed.

Mujahid Arshid, 33, appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court and has reportedly been charged with the murder, rape, and kidnap of the 19-year-old.

He is also being charged with the rape, attempted murder, and kidnap of the second victim.

His co-defendant, Vincent Tappu, 28, has been charged with the kidnapping of both victims.
