Celeste Barber is an Australian Actor, Writer, and Comedian known for recreating photos of famous women as herself on Instagram. ^{[2] [7]}

Born and raised in Australia, she grew up in the city of Sydney for most of her life. She has a sister whom she is very close with. ^[21]

In the early 2000s, she trained at Nepean, Sydney in Acting. ^[25]

Celeste is best known for the role she played of a paramedic Bree Mathews on the show all saints.

She was a sketch writer/performer on the Matty Johns show and has played a recurring character on Home and away, wonderland and how not to behave

She was also part of a film called Bulke and wills which went onto becoming a finalist at the 2006 trebecca film festival.

She also has her own SMH web series called Office Correctness and worked as co-writer and performer for ABC’s show Late Night Angel Weenie Babies

She has been a panelist on HAVE YOU BEEN PAYING ATTENTION and also was a co-host on \studio

As recent at 2015 she performed sold out shows for the Sydney Comedy and Finge Festival and ended up as a state finalist on MICF Raw Comedy.

In Early January, 2015, the earliest instances of Celeste recreating photos of celebrities and famous women began to emerge on her instagram.

Celeste and her sister would send each other text messages back and forth of how women are supposed to do everyday activities and they began to poke fun at the depiction.

In September 2018, Celeste was featured in comedy videos released by Tom Ford. The three videos, posted to Barber and Ford's respective Instagram accounts, show Ford teaching Barber how to walk in his shows, while she attempts to sneak some of the clothes home in her bag. The video played at the after party of Ford's show, which opened New York Fashion Week. The videos come after the pair collaborated on a previous comedy video featuring Ford and Barber vigorously making out in an airport terminal.^[27][28][29]

She lives with her husband and her child in Sydney. She works as an actress in Australia while also developing pilots with a producer and partner in Los Angeles, California. She is currently working on developing a television show. ^[18]
