Catherine Johannet was a graduate of Columbia University.
Personal Life
In 2015, she graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor’s degree in comparative literature.
From July 2015 to October 2016, she was employed as a teacher with the organization Ivy Prep based out of Hanoi, Vietnam.
She hailed from Scarsdale, New York.
Death
On February 5, 2017, Catherine was discovered dead on a Panama island during a trip to the beach. She was last seen alive on February 2, 2017, when she left her hostel on Colón Island on her way to Red Frog Beach.

An autopsy revealed that Catherine had been strangulated.
