Cassandra "Cassie" Bjorge is a 17-year-old who lives in Lawrenceville, Georgia. ^[undefined] She and her boyfriend, Johnny Ryder, are the leading suspects in the Double homicide of Wendy and Randall Bjorge.

Cassie was born and raised in Atlanta and moved to Lawrenceville, Georgia at some point in her childhood. ^[undefined] Bjorge lived with her grandparents and attended Duluth High School. ^{[undefined] [undefined]} Bjorge was known to run away from home and had done so in late December of 2016 and early April of 2017. ^[undefined] Bjorge is in a relationship with her boyfriend, Johnny Ryder. ^[undefined]

On the evening of April 8th, Cassie's family members asked the police to do a welfare check on her grandparents, Wendy and Randall Bjorge.

The family had not heard from the elderly couple for some time and were worried about their condition.

Since no one answered the door, they left and respected their privacy.

Later in the night, police were called to an assault that took place.

Ryder had attacked his sister and her boyfriend and ran off with Cassie.

When police arrived, they did not find either of the two but discovered the vehicle that belonged to the Wendy and Randall.

Police returned to the Bjorge's residence and forced their way into the house.

Upon going upstairs, the found the deceased bodies of Wendy and Randall in an apparent homicide.

Cassie and Johnny became suspects in their murder.

The next day, police located Cassie and Johnny to the address of 4000 McGinnis Ferry Road at McGinnis Ferry Apartments in Suwanee, GA. The address was a friend of Ryder's who did not know the extent of the situation. When Cassie and Johnny refused to leave the residence, a SWAT team was called in for assistance. When they entered the home, they found Cassie and Johnny with self-inflicted stab wounds. Both were taken to Gwinnett Medical Center to be treated for their injuries. ^[undefined]

According to arrest warrants, Cassie and her boyfriend beat her grandparents with a tire iron before finishing the job by slashing their throats.

Authorities believe that their bodies may have been laying around for at least a week before they were discovered by the police.

During that time, Cassie and Johnny invited friends over to party and smoke weed while the bodies of her grandparents were rotting upstairs.
