Carrie Lane Pearlman (B. July 15th, 1994) is an American Singer songwriter and Model known for her body positive campaign for Target. ^[1]

Born in raised in the New Jersey suburb of Montclair to a loving and caring family that encourage the arts in their home. As a child she was encouraged to sing songs from the Broadway-related musicals as that was a normal thing at her household.

Ever since the age of 4 years old she has been performing on a stage where she played Wendy in a children's version of Peter Pan. She would go on to perform in th community all throughout her early life and adolescent years.

She was also a performer at The Hudson School, the high school that she graduated from.

At the age of 8 years old she was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes. She is a person who cares about her nutrition and since being diagnosed, over the years she has taken to exercising and focusing on being a healthy human being.

After graduating high school, she attended New York University. While there, she began to write her own songs and explored the musical landscape of New York City. While finished her education, she was able to perform her music at various venues.

She eventually wrote a long email during class to tell her parents that she was dropping out of school to pursue her music career full time.

Some time after dropping out of school in 2014, she claims to have had toured the US that same summer.

Indeed, she toured the country opening for YouTube sensations, Taylor Caniff and Sammy Wilkinson.

In the winter of 2015, Carrie hit Los Angeles and Phoenix while on tour with Winter Lights, which featured pop groups Im5 and Hollywood Ending. She’s played at multiple venues, some notable ones being The Sunset Marquis, The Hotel Cafe, and House of Blues in Anaheim.

After playing at VidCon- a performance showcasing young pop stars at House of Blues Anaheim, Carrie went on nationwide tour with Deleasa. In June of 2015, Carrie released her successful freshman pop EP, Bows Before Bros. The following February, Lane self released her second successful EP, Bad Idea, under her new persona Honey Thief. Carrie has started 2017 with a bang, releasing her latest single, “I Can’t Be With You”, on Forever 21.

During her time as a musician touring, she was signed by model agency, MSA Models of New York and Los Angeles.

In early 2017, Carrie modeled Target as part of their #realgirls body-positive

campaign.

She was criticized for being seen as a plus sized model when in fact she's a size 8, which made a lot of people angry.

Carrie has said she understands that she should not be necessarily a plus size model.

Carrie has a boyfriend named Michael Bruno.
