On March 22, 2018 Carol Stone was arrested and charged with domestic battery after allegedly beating up her husband for forgetting their wedding anniversary. She was booked into Land O’ Lakes Detention Center in Land O' Lakes FL and released later that day on a $150 bond.

Ronnie William Alexander told the Pasco County Sheriff's Office that the couple’s argument began in the morning and continued when he returned home from work with a rose in hand. Alexander added that he also “planned to rent a hotel room for the weekend to celebrate their anniversary.”

During police questioning, Stone reportedly admitted that she “flipped the shit out” on her husband.

Investigators say that Ronnie recorded part of the attack on his cell phone. The video shows Stone “quickly approaching” her spouse and then striking him “multiple times on his head and face.” While enduring the blows, “Ronnie states multiple times, ‘Stop hitting me,’” cops added. The assault left Ronnie with red marks on his face and minor scratches on his neck and chest. ^[1]

A judge has ordered Carol Stone, to have no contact with Ronnie while the criminal case is pending, according to court records.
