Candice Rochelle Bobb was 35 year old, pregnant woman from Toronto, Canada.

Candice Rochelle Bobb was shot and killed in northwest Toronto, Canada on the night of Sunday May 15, 2016 but doctors were able to deliver her baby with an emergency C-section. The baby is currently in stable condition.

Candice was in the car with three others, on the way back from watching an amateur men’s league basketball game.

They were stopped on John Garland Blvd., dropping one of the passengers at home around 11 p.m. when shots were fired at the vehicle.

The driver of the car brought Candice to a nearby hospital.

No one else in the vehicle was injured.

Doctors pronounced Bobb dead, but performed an emergency C-section to save her baby.

The baby was transferred to Sunnybrook hospital and was in stable condition as of Monday morning.

“It’s a travesty,” said John Tory, the mayor of Toronto, Canada. “My heart goes out in particular to her baby. No baby should come into this world without a mother.”
