Camilo Egaña

Camilo Egaña is the host of the prime time talk show Camilo, which airs Monday through Friday at 9:00 p.m. (Atlanta time) on CNN en Español.[1][2]

Education

Egaña received his BA in Hispanic Language and Literature at the University of Havana, and took a postgraduate course in news production in Spain after receiving a scholarship from the Spanish government. He has been a professor of journalism classes in Havana and in Mexico.

Career

Egaña joined CNN en Español in October 2010 as the host of Mirador Mundial and was later in charge of the evening program Encuentro, presented Monday through Friday.[3][4][5]

He has more than 20 years of journalistic career in radio, television and news agencies in Cuba and Miami.

Since he joined CNN en Español, Egaña has made a special edition of his program from Uruguay, and another from Argentina entitled "The stolen children," about the disappeared in that country.
