B&T Industries (Atlas Bipod, Accu-Shot Monopod)

B&T Industries (Atlas Bipod, Accu-Shot Monopod)

B&T Industries is an American manufacturer of firearm bipods (Atlas), monopods (Accu-Shot), and other accessories.

[5]

History

B&T Industries was founded by Kasey Beltz and Arthur Teichgraeber (hence the B&T) on April 2, 1999 in Wichita, Kansas [2].

The original reason for the company's founding was due to a 1997 prairie dog hunt which was almost ruined due to a missing sandbag.

This was resolved by filling a sock with sand.

In January 2000, the company patented the Accu-shot monopod in order to eliminate the need to carry around sandbags [1].

In 2010, the company introduced the Atlas bipod.
