Bryssa Polatas was an 18-year-old from Hilton, New York. She is a graduate of Hilton High School.

Having an active role in student life, Bryssa participated in Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America's Annual National
Leadership Forum.
She aspired to be a tattoo artist and was interested in working in Art therapy for autistic children. Polatas is remembered for being a beautiful young woman who cared for others.
Death
On the evening of January 12th, Polatas was a passenger in the front seat of a white sedan driving northbound on Long Pond Road.
The driver, Zachary Boyce, lost control of the vehicle, crossed the double-yellow line, and struck a black sedan traveling in the opposite direction.
Polatas was pronounced dead at the scene.
Boyce was taken to the hospital and is listed in guarded condition while two other passengers suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
A GoFundMe was created in order to give funds to an art therapy program in her honor.
