Bruno is the town dog of Longville, Minnesota.

He is a Mutt with a tawny coat who is 13-years-old.

^[2]He was originally an abandon strayed who his owner, Larry LaVallee, took in as a puppy after someone found him at the end of his driveway.

Local Prominence and Fame

For the past twelve years, Bruno takes his daily walk 4 miles down Minnesota State Highway 84 and makes his rounds around town including with city hall, the town library, a local ice cream shop, several real estate offices and a grocery store, where deli workers feed him leftover scraps and enjoy his company.

Bruno is known for his friendly demeanor and mythical ability to dodge traffic.

He has become such a staple Longville that its residents dedicated a statue in his honor.
