She went to a local high school in her hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

She attended Ohio University in Athens, and graduated in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business.

Hyland and her sister, Paige, left the show after their mum, as Lukasiak did in 2014, clashed with Dance Moms chief Abby Lee Miller.

Nevertheless, over the years, Hyland and Chloe Lukasiak have met many times with each other and other members of Dance Moms, including former ALDC member Ni a Sioux Frazier.
