Brittney Jasmine Agoncillo

Brittney Jasmine (born Brittney Agoncillo; January 21, 1989) is an American businesswoman, motivational speaker, life coach, techie, philanthropist, and cannabis activist. She is known for her efforts in 2010 when she fought alongside Priscilla Agoncillo at the forefront of legalizing medical cannabis in California by collecting over 1,000 signatures for Proposition 19.

Early life

Brittney Jasmine was born in Santa Clara, California, in 1989 to Arlene Ciubal and Adolfo Agoncillo (descendant from Marcela Agoncillo, also known as "The Mother of the Philippine Flag"). She was raised in Riverside, California, and attended Norte Vista High School. She was nominated for "Most Likely to Succeed" and "Class Clown."

While growing up, she started her entrepreneurial drive by independently raising funds to play basketball and to help provide for her younger siblings. Later she received a college scholarship for basketball but rejected it to take care of her younger sisters from 2007 to 2014. During that time, she worked for Xium Corporation as the youngest Executive Assistant for the President, Gregory Dockery. She learned sales, marketing, networking, information systems, and energy-saving technology in her role.

Career

On Instagram, with nearly 30,000 followers, she spreads positivity and knowledge about cannabis and sets high standards for cannabis products (recreational and medicinal) to be featured on her page. [8]

Brittney Jasmine co-founded Central Business Intelligence Analytics (CBI Analytics)[9] and then started motivational speaking and life coaching using digital technology and social media platforms. In addition to business endeavors, she assisted professors as a Grader for the Master of Business Administration (MBA or M.B.A.) at the University of California, Riverside (2019-2021).

Philanthropy

In 2008, Brittney Jasmine started philanthropic initiates with the preparation and execution of the World Peace for Life event hosted by Prince Ali.

Education

Brittney Jasmine attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She studied neuroscience and the effects of drugs in 2016. It was there she was introduced to mass communication and the impacts of technology. In the mids of her educational career, she received a job opportunity to be the Executive Assistant for an award-winning cannabis company, Original Breeders Leauge (OBL).[11] Although she did not obtain a degree from Baylor University, she used her new-found knowledge and experience to assist OBL and global cannabis activism.

In 2019, Brittney continued her education at The University of California, Riverside's Business school, where she received the Delta Gamma Sigma Pi Scholarship Key Award for ranking #1 out of the entire Undergraduate graduating class for the award year 2020-2021.

Brittney also served as the first Asian American female Co-President for the Management Information System Society at The University of California, Riverside where she created and produced events such as the first Virtual Information Systems Tech Forum 2020 and the first Virtual Aerospace Conference 2021 that brought together thousands of students from multiple universities.

Brittney graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 and her Bachelor of Science in Business administration with a concentration in Information systems.

Family life and marriage

In 2017, Brittney Jasmine met Mia Lavana on the Her (dating app), and they became Domestic partners the same year. Lavana continues to participate in LGBT social movements and her writing career. The couple enjoys making YouTube videos together and creating digital content together.[12]

At night, Brittney Jasmine socialized at red carpet events such as the MTV, BET, and ESPY Awards. It was then she had opportunities to connect with Tommy Chong[3], Jamie Foxx[4], Ice-T[14], Too Short[5], and many more gifted individuals.
