Brigid Delaney is an Australian journalist based in Sydney. She is a columnist at The Guardian Australia. [1]
Career
In 2001 she took a place as a trainee journalist at the Sydney Morning Herald. In her five years at the Herald, Delaney worked in a variety of roles including as a general news reporter, feature writer and section editor.
In 2006 she moved to London and worked at The Telegraph news group, and the London bureau of CNN. She continued to write columns for the Sydney Morning Herald, ABC on-line and travel stories from around Europe for the SMH, the Age and the Qantas magazine.
Her writing has also appeared in Vogue, the The Spectator and Griffith Review.
She is the author of two books: This Restless Life and Wild Things.
