Brett Rochkind
Brett Rochkind is a managing director at General Atlantic, a global growth investment company.
Rochkind leads GA's Palo Alto office, where he is co-head of global Internet and technology.
He recently returned from GA's Hong Kong office, focusing on opportunities in China and the Asia-Pacific region, including investments in Alibaba, Lenovo, Renren and Soufun.
Rochkind has worked closely with many of GA's portfolio companies in the software, information, services and Internet sectors, among them Box, Appirio, Bazaarvoice and IHS in the United States; Decolar, MercadoLibre and Linx in Latin America; and PowerDsine in Israel.
Prior to joining GA, Rochkind was an investment banker with Morgan Stanley in New York and Menlo Park and helped establish Morgan's office in Israel.
He serves on the board of his alma mater, New York University, and earned his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
