Brett Cohen was a 22-year-old student at the University of Vermont. He is originally from Needham, Massachusetts.
Life and Activities
Brett grew up in Needham, Massachusetts and attended from Needham High School where he was a member of Rugby team during his time there. After graduating, Brett went on to the University of Vermont and majored in nutrition. An active member of his campus community, Brett was a member of his school's Ski and Board Club and Hillel. Brett is remembered for his kind nature and adventurous spirit. [undefined]
Death
On February 13th, Cohen and a friend went snowboarding at Stowe Mountain Resort.
At one point when he was separated from his friend.
Cohen was reported missing 3:30 pm.
A search team did not discover Brett until 11:30 pm that evening.
He was taken to a local area hospital where he was pronounced dead early Tuesday morning.
