Brendan Cox is a campaigner who currently works for Save the Children and has been an activist for various UK organizations. Cox is a father of two and is married to the politician-Jo Cox- who was shot to death on June 16th, 2016.

Personal Life/Death of his Wife

Brendan first met Jo while she was working at Oxfam and he was working at Save The Children, since then they have had two children together.

After Jo was shot, Cox released a statement that he will fight against the hate that led to his wife's death, “She would have wanted two things above all else to happen now, one that our precious children are bathed in love and two, that we all unite to fight against the hatred that killed her. Hate doesn’t have a creed, race or religion, it is poisonous."

Brendan Cox believes that his wife, Jo Cox was killed for her strong political beliefs. He said "She (Jo Cox) was a politician and she had very strong political views and I believe she was killed because of those views. I think she died because of them, and she would want to stand up for those in death as much as she did in life."
