Braxton Berrios (born October 6, 1995) is an American college student-athlete at the University of Miami. He plays for the Miami Hurricanes and is affiliated in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. [1]
Biography
Early Life & Education
Braxton Berrios is originally from High Point, North Carolina. He is of Cuban ancestry. His father, Rico Berrios, was an All-Srare soccer player as well as a kicker on the football team for Miami Southridge High School. He then moved to Raleigh, North Carolina and graduated from Leesville High School in the class of 2014. He graduated with a 4.3 grade-point-average.
Berrios's 40-yard dash time out of high school was 4.48 seconds while his bench press was 320 pounds.
College Career
After high school, Braxton Berrios went on to attend the University of Miami.
As a freshman, he finishedthe season with 21 catches for 232 yards and 3 touchdowns.
In 2017, Berrios caught two touchdown passes against Florida State, to help beat the Seminoles for the first time since 2009.
